Did this quick research:
Wanted to know how many players who win Stanley cup before the 2004-05 lockout are still active.
I expected there would be only few but I am surprised anyway that there are only two such players in NHL: Jaromir Jagr (obvious answer) and Brian Gionta. Then there are two unrestricted agents not playing (Patrik Elias and Alex Tanguay) and few players still playing in other professional leagues (Pavel Datsyuk is the most noticeable one).
After that, I tried to find last retired player from that teams (in this case I maybe missed someone). I did only the 90's and forth but it might be interesting to track down the previous years. From 1980's I guess Messier is the answer for Oilers, Roy for Montreal, Greg Gilbert for Islanders?
Or it can be found somewhere and I am doing worthless work?
Am I missing someone?
Here is the table:
1991 PIT - Jaromir Jagr (Mark Recchi 2011)
1992 PIT - Jaromir Jagr (Mario Lemieux 2006)
1993 MON - none (Mathieu Schneider 2010)
1994 NYR - none (Sergej Zubov 2010)
1995 NJD - none (Martin Brodeur 2015, Brian Rolston 2012)
1996 COL - none (Sandis Ozolinsh 2008/2014, Adam Foote 2011, Peter Forsberg 2011)
1997 DET - none (Sergei Fedorov 2009/2012, Vyacheslav Kozlov 2010/2015, Tomas Holmström 2012, Nicklas Lidström 2012, Chris Osgood 2011, Kris Draper 2011)
1998 DET - none (see above)
1999 DAL - none (John Sim 2011/2014, Jamie Langenbrunner 2013, Mike Modano 2011)
2000 NJD - Patrik Elias* (Scott Gomez 2016 , Martin Brodeur 2015)
2001 COL - Steven Reiprecht**, Alex Tanguay* (Ville Nieminen 2007/2015, Martin Skoula 2010/2015, David Aebischer 2008/2015, Milan Hejduk 2013)
2002 DET - Pavel Datsyuk***, Jason Williams?
2003 NJD - Brian Gionta, Jiri Bicek****
2004 TBL - Martin Cibak****, Eric Perrin***** (Brad Richards 2016, Ruslan Fedotenko 2013/2016)

** in NHL till 2011, now playing German league
*** in NHL till 2016, now playing KHL
**** now in Slovak league
***** now in Finnish league
If there are two years of retirement, it means NHL retirement and hockey retirement.
