LA's 2nd goal vs Van

I was always under the impression that the nhl reviewed goals after every period to correctly credit goals and assists. However last night Martinez was credited with the 2nd assist on the Williams goal when it should clearly be Brown (who shot the puck) or Stoll (who looked to have browns shot hit him)
I've always questioned stats like hits because they are in a way judgment calls, but goals and assists should be much clearer. And yes hockey pool points are at stake! Lol

Well, you're right. Sometimes the NHL will make a correction on assists a day or two after the game, but not often.
