Can anyone remember the last time someone not named Ovi lead the Caps in goals? Was it before his rookie year?

I looked it up. Ovi and Oshie tied in 2016/17, Ovi's worst full season. Other than that, Ovi lead the Caps in goals every single year since he came into the league. A handful of times he lead the 2nd place guy by 30 or more.

Right now he's 3 behind Strome.

Ahh it would have been Lang easily but he was traded, so he doesn't show up on the final list for Caps season scoring. He scored 30 that year, 29 for DC (easily tops on the Caps), 1 for Detroit.
