Liked Cecconi in Rochester - best nickname in hockey as he's know as "Cheeks". He and Jeremy Davies were an excellent shutdown pair for the Amerks on their run to the AHL conference finals 2 years ago, got hurt in the playoffs last year IIRC.

Vey pick was basically the return for Garrison from FLA. But, fans wanted the club to rebuild, so every draft pick/prospect was viewed as valuable. Madden was a tweener. Not talented enough to be a top 6. Not enough like his dad to be effective in the bottom 6 guy.
