Hard to say anything negative here. This is the most earned contract in the league. No joke. The penultimate 4th line center who would sacrifice literally anything for the team.
Good contract. Not sure why you're calling him second to last though ?

He's about as bottom of the barrel as it gets and by all looks without context does not belong in the league. He's almost all but dead last on the roster yet he literally survives by sheer force of will. If there was a player that was the living personification of Rudy (besides Ruettiger obviously), Blake Lizotte is that player...

He looks tiny from the stands and gets ragdolled literally every shift on the ice, but always finds a way to be a factor every single shift. It's kind of remarkable how he wills his usefulness :P

So you're saying that he's ten percent luck, twenty percent skill
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name?

If "hard working" is a nice way of saying that you get pushed around like a ragdoll and spend more time on your butt than on your skates, Lizotte might just be the hardest working player in the league.

Good for Blake. He’s earned every last penny of that contract. I’m not big on small players, but Ive rarely come across a player who personifies the old adage, “it’s not the size of the dog in the fight it’s the size of the fight in the dog” Lizotte, is now the benchmark by which a lot of the kids are going to be held to. If they see that the Kings are willing to reward Blake for his effort, it should also let them know that they’re expected to give just as much if not more, if they want their NHL pay day.
If he’s not an example of hard work paying off, then I don’t know who is!!

That's been happening to him a lot lately, but he was very solid for the first half of the season.

Great contract for an incredibly effective crash test dummy

I've literally never seen someone so aggressive and reckless with their own body, if you're on his squad watching him play and giving less than your max effort, you should bench yourself because he'd go out there limbless like The Black Knight if he had to. And he might when he starts feeling pain like most adults.

Going to be weird, but in a good way, to go from midget Lizotte to 6"6' Samuel Helenius on the fourth line when we are contenders.
