Is he just assuming that he’s going to make the team?

He can’t play in Hartford. He’ll be in NY, where he should be.Just put him CT with Miller at this point. Have him begin working out with Prentiss and living with Marty and his family.
That was my thinking as well. Hopefully not another case of “I can make it off talent alone.”Sounds lazy, IMO
Just seemed arrogant or (as another poster said) lazy at first glance. It's safer to assume he makes the team as opposed to assuming he doesn't make the team, yes.
I don’t actually think it’s lazy. Think Kakko’s world tour before coming to camp was detrimental to his rookie season. It’s a long 82 games for a rookie, no need to make it any longer. Rest is good.Just seemed arrogant or (as another poster said) lazy at first glance.
By CT I meant do what Miller is doing right now. Living and working out with NHLers not playing for the Wolfpack. He can’t play in Hartford. He’ll be in NY, where he should be.
I wasn’t aware that’s what Miller was doing. Hence the confusion.By CT I meant do what Miller is doing right now. Living and working out with NHLers not playing for the Wolfpack.

I can’t tell if you’re serious. I think you are. You really have it out for this kid eh? What’s the deal?Just seemed arrogant or (as another poster said) lazy at first glance.
to me this is a no brainer for him. the Q season will start like 10/1 and the draft is 10/9. all that could happen is he gets hurt before the draft. smart to get drafted and then talk to the rangers about what he should do...hopefully by then we have dates set for next season training camp and then working with the rangers they can determine if its better for the kid go play somewhere for a few months or just get ready for camp
Wut?Just seemed arrogant or (as another poster said) lazy at first glance.
