Seeking an explanation on why there is no local top level junior programs in the Ny metro area when there seems to be the talent there for it? Weren't there just like 5 guys on the U.S. WJ team from the area?
Only the lower level junior like tier 3 can be found in this region. Not even Tier 2 NaHL.
Is the talent not there to support it? What are the other factors? Talented kids who need the step up in talent level from tier3 are essentially forced to move from their high school and make other sacrifices for that next level of competition.
