Anyone wear one? And how do you make it? I would imagine you would have to burn the ends or something like that... :help:

Hockey laces that you make into a bracelet. A lot of guys I played against used to wear them and I'm not too sure how I'd make it without using tape.

You can burn the ends with a match or sew the lose ends together. Most folks i know that i've seen wear them melt the ends.

Western Michigan— Two years ago(2003), as a sign of unity, the men's hockey team started wearing bracelets made from ice skate laces, an idea of Andrew Dwyer, now a senior defenseman. They fused together the ends of the laces by burning them with a match. When the team got knocked out of the playoffs, coach Jim Culhane proclaimed he would not take off his bracelet until Western Michigan advanced to the Super Sox Championships. Culhane and several players are still wearing their skate lace bracelets.

I wear one. Just because other people spot it and know I play hockey.

I just made one. I just tied it, then melted the knot with a lighter. It's a little rough, but gets the job done. I like it.

I wear a black one and I'm considering getting my whole team to do team colored bracelets and keep them until we win our annual rival game.

When I first read this I was like "WHY would men wear one of these?"

It would be amusing to make one with an entire skate lace, just wind it around your wrist a bunch of times.
