Interesting role. I like that they interviewed Lucic for the article. I'm sure he's appreciated having Myhres around given all of his public issues this past offseason with his father's suicide, being traded, etc. It's always nice to have someone to talk to.

BTW, since we're on the subject, by calling 1-800-273-TALK (8255) you'll be connected to a skilled, trained counselor at a crisis center in your area, anytime 24/7. You can talk to someone about anything on your mind. You're never alone.

I wonder if they will extend this to wives/girlfriends. A support group for them might help the players as well as the spouses. Maybe with a different person. Having someone to talk to may help the wives deal with trades, coping with husbands/boyfriends issues, child care and other things I know nothing about

I would imagine, given the event that sparked this, that they have familial support services available that aren't Myhers.

And yeah the Lucic connection is great, as Tony mentions, and I wonder if the help the org has presumably given him in that regard helps him feel even more at home here.

Such a great positive to come out of such tragedy, really have to give kudos to DL and team for their thinking on this one.
