LA Kings left wing prospect Adrian Kempe oozes pretty high-end skill and speed. But like so many young players, even first round draft picks, moving up to the the professional ranks in North America, especially the AHL and the NHL, isn't easy.
Last season with the Ontario Reign was a mixed bag for Kempe, who did not meet expectations, in terms of offensive production. Defense wasn't his strong suit, either.
