With first round of the 2016 National Hockey League Draft scheduled for this afternoon (4:00 PM PDT; televised on NBCSN starting at 3:30 PM), Frozen Royalty brings you three stories on the Los Angeles Kings and the 2016 NHL Draft.

This first story looks at how amateur scouting and drafting are affected by changes and improvements that President/General Manager Dean Lombardi said were coming throughout hockey operations when he spoke to the media a couple of weeks after the Kings were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.

Talking to Yanetti is just like talking to Dean Lombardi, although Yanetti isn't quite as stream-of-conciousness as Lombardi is...lol
