Berube had some beautiful saves during the playoffs, it was just the lack of consistency/letting in some long shots that held him back in the eyes of a fair amount of fans. I think that ties in with the drop in focus during slow periods that Gann and J.F. were discussing in their conversation.

Gann, I've said it before, but I really enjoy the audio interviews. I liked the length of the Berube one especially. The audio interviews have a conversational tone and your non-rushed questions help me dwell on what you are wanting to explore.

Berube will be put on waivers and will likely go unclaimed and be sent to Ontario. I'm expecting Bartosak to pass him on the depth chart at some point this season, but I guess we'll see.

This. Berube is a NHL backup at best IMO, assuming he peaks.

I'm looking for Quick to have a huge bounce back year and lead the Kings back to the PO's.Enroth was signed for insurance and maybe trade bait if Berube is ready.As it sits Enroth is the backup and Berube depth with Bartosak getting more minutes than last year to see what he's made of!So does that mean Mastalerz is ticketed for Manchester with Dillon playing Major Junior in Edmonton!

Honestly, I won't be shocked if Barto ends up with more starts than Berube if they both spend the whole year in Ontario.
