The 2016-17 season was, in many ways, a lost season for the Los Angeles Kings. Just about every player struggled, but a -team-worst -21 plus/minus rating made defenseman Jake Muzzin's struggles stand out.

But so far in the very, very young 2017-18 season, Muzzin has looked like a different, much-improved player.

From last night's performance, Muzzin is still clearly trying to do too much. He was all over the ice, not necessarily in a good way.
