Both teams have gotten off to a bit of a slow start, perhaps a slight reshuffle of the deck chairs could help.

Pretty much just a lateral trade to give the teams a little shake up.

Columbus has 9 points in 8 games and are playing quite well. Things are good there, looking up.

I wouldn't be adverse to a forward shakeup for the Jackets. The 5 on 5 forward scoring is off track, outside of Hartnell / Saad / Foligno. But a shakeup would have to send guys who need a shakeup. It doesn't make sense to move Calvert and Karlsson, who've been stellar in their roles. They play hard comp and don't give up much - Karlsson still sitting on zero GA at evens and both with zero GA on PK despite leading the forwards with 17-18 PK minutes.

Right now Jenner and Dubinsky. But I honestly don't see the Kings offering much that the Jackets would want for Jenner, and Dubinsky is realistically not going anywhere.

Both those guys are keepers though aren't they, part of The BJs core. I'd love to add Jenner, but doubt we could afford him.

Depends on who you ask. My ask is on the low end as far as Jacket-fans asks go, in that I would accept a good 2C. Some others are 1C or bust.

Of course, your 2C is wanted dead in Ohio, so let's not go there. I don't think the Kings have much that would help.

Ha, Carts isn't exactly mr popularity in that neck of the woods is he. Yeah Jenner is out of our price range.

I would give you a price discount for the great Jenner joke but unfortunately the thing we need is waaaaaaaaaay to valuable to you guys and the next closest to him if personally drop the gloves with if he came back haha

I don't think it's beyond the realm of possibility that the Jackets would look to move Boone Jenner as part of a package to address their need for a #1 C.

But beyond that, I don't see much need for a move. We're confident Boone will rebound. He might not get 30 goals again this season, but his game will come around.

As for the "slow start," we fans said that we'd be happy if we were at .500 at this point because of the difficulty of the Jackets' schedule to start.
