Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Kings were the better team all night except for maybe 5 minutes in the 2nd period.

Well at least I called the right score and winning team in the prediction contest. They can't take that away from me.
Not much effort at all tonight apart from the last five minutes in the second.
Have to put more than 14 shots up against No Save Dave.
We’ve been stacking poorly-played games for the past week, hopefully once we get back home and get some rest we’ll start to see early season Jets.

I guess we only out played and beat good teams because it was an off night for that team and when ever we lose it's because that team played a playoff style of game...
seriously this team has needed rest for a while now, 3 game east coast 1 home then 1 east 2 central then 1 pacific is f***ing brutal.

Well deserved loss. The team is on a skid now. Lets see if the coaches make any adjustments. This is kind of a "statement loss" type of game.

Not matter how good of a year you are having or what your record is you can't win every game, the scoreboard plays this out every night.
Well, I stayed up and watched the whole game, at least I did that. Not much to say about that one except on to the next one. I give this game two "Jack Trippers" out of five...

I'll call out Arniel here, his line change in the third blew up in his face. I get he was wanting to send a message but line two was not the biggest problem tonight and his change completely tanked that line and lead to the game getting away from us.
The first, third and fourth lines where all worse.
DeMelo has been awful this year and he needs to get it going or that contract is a dud.
Maybe Mark should sit and heal, he's nowhere near 100%

This was a dull outing where the Jets lacked drive or urgency for almost the entire game. It's becoming more common so it's time the coaches address this now before it starts to spiral. Starting to play fifteen minutes into the game, and even then at only a "so so" level, gets you a loss most nights in the NHL (unless Hellebuyck becomes Zeus).
I hope they turn it around against Vegas because this was really disappointing.
The positive here is that they've given themselves a good cushion in the standings to be able to figure things out. Hopefully they can catch a breath after this bizarre road trip too.

Jets outscored 17-3 in their 4 losses over the last 2 weeks. They've been pretty bad their last 3 straight.
Scheifele might as well go get surgery or do whatever he needs to rehab his injury, because he's been tits-on-a-bull useless out there over those 3 games. 0-4 in goals at 5v5, 36% CF and 34% xGF. At all strengths, which includes his time on the powerplay, he's 2-6 and 45% in both CF and xGF. With 1C's like that, who needs enemies?

It also doesn't let up until the Xmas break. We play every other day until then.

Seriously I have never seen so many missed passes by the Jets in one game. That pass back to Morrissey on the blue line where at the last second jumped over his stick was the kind of night the Jets were having.
How many times did a shot get defected or blocked and the puck when right to a Kings player?
Jets still on track for a 3-3 record on a long road trip.
Don’t get too down after a lost at least the Jets never lost 6-2 to the Hawks.
