They are really, really close. Put Connor on the offensively inept perds, and I very much doubt there is a large difference in rheir offensive output.

Let me get this straight.

Connor doesn’t benefit from playing with Scheifele and Wheeler so we can’t say his offence is inflated.

AND, we can’t say Forsbergs a much better defender (which he is) because of his system? Holy hell that’s one horrible argument

People sure do love them some Connor apparently. I'm genuinely surprised he's leading this.


The goal-scoring is pretty close. Connor does have that gamebreaking speed. But in pretty much every other aspect, particularly including two-way responsibility and playmaking ability, Forsberg absolutely blows him away.

I'd take Forsberg all day every day. Easy.
