Who's better? I say it's very close. Connor plays with better linemates in Winnipeg but Forsberg scored 42 goals last year with 84pts.
Let me get this straight.Top-10 goal finishes:
Connor (3): 6, 10, 6
Forsberg (1, kind of): T-10
Both have no top-10 point seasons.
Connor, not very close. I think crediting Connor’s offense to the system the Jets play is disingenuous - as is crediting Forsberg’s defense to the system the Preds play.
Are we sure the fact that it was a contract year is the reason he had a a career year? Seems like some context is missing here.I’ll take the guy who doesn’t need a contract year to have a career year
It sure does apply in the playoffs at least...Connor vs Forsberg last 3 seasons
AINEC applies here.
- 0.95PPG vs 0.92PPG (minus EN)
- Connor plays 3 extra minutes per game
- Connor is trash defensively
- Connor has better linemates
- Connor has worse career playoff production
- Connor is reliant on rush opportunities
It does for one game four years ago.It sure does apply in the playoffs at least...
