You may as well simply assume that he's not available at all. What it would cost to move Kuzmenko...just wouldn't be worth it for anyone else.
He's just too valuable to the Canucks as a 30G+ finisher who has great chemistry with Pettersson, on a very reasonable $5M contract that they desperately need, as tight to the cap as they are, and will continue to be next year.
He's basically a one-trick pony. He's insanely good around the net. Terrific timing to spin off or break loose at just the right moment and great hand-eye to get his hands on tips, tap-ins, redirects, and a decent enough shot and set of hands to finish from the slot or extend plays in traffic. But that's about it. He doesn't offer a ton in the rest of the game, other than being very much on the same page as Pettersson in terms of offensive zone play and entries. They read off each other very well.
But Kuzmenko isn't the sort of "complete" winger teams would be willing to, or even should be willing to sell the farm for. He's worth far more to Vancouver than anyone else, because of that chemistry with Pettersson.
What the Canucks really need...is the right fit as the "3rd wheel" with Pettersson and Kuzmenko. Someone with size, speed, and that mentality to do the spadework on the forecheck, in the corners...but enough skill and vision to mesh with the clever, high skill game that the other two play together. Not to get rid of Kuzmenko.
