Honestly, this seems like a match made in heaven.

He’s a perfect player to complement Michkov, very creative, skillful player that will thrive with Michkov and a defensively responsible center.

He’s an upcoming UFA so he shouldn’t cost that much and if he plays well the Flyers could extend him

Kuzmenko is the player who could have good synergy with Michkov. He loves to play around the nets, good IQ, isn't fast but great edge work, can stickhandle very well and he has a good shot.

Pretty much they are very similar style wise.

Phily needs to send back some salary though. Probably Cates, who's RFA after this season. And Laughton, who's UFA in a season. Both players aren't useless as well. And Calgary has a lot of space anyway.

He's light years better than Mantha and we just gave him 3.5M. Kuzmenko will bring us a 2nd minimum at the TDL. I wouldn't move him now for less than that. He's bad defensively still, but he's making an effort and isn't a bottom 5 player in the league in his own end like he was.

He's the biggest factor on our PP not being horrific anymore. You gotta shelter him at 5 on 5 though.
