The Kuwait national team training in the ice rink of a Division 3 (fifth tier) team in Sweden. Kuwait will be the host of the Asia Champs or possibly the Gulf Ice Hockey Championships.. although they mention Japan.. not sure.. this year and they're in Sweden to get into shape and watch some quality hockey. :)

Hopefully you can see the clip outside of Sweden, however, it's mostly in Swedish.

I can do a quick translation of the article if there's any interest.

If you use Google chrome, when the page opens up, on the top right it will give you the option to translate it to any language.

Thats a pretty interesting article. Awesome to see hockey growing.

When did the Asia Cup start? Who are competing in it? Who is financing the Kuwait national team?

Didn't think much of Google translate before. Guess it's improved :)

I actually have no idea. Not an easy task finding information about the tourney. I'm not even sure what it's called.

The Kuwait goalies story about them playing India was damn funny though.

The Challenge Cup of Asia has run every year since 2008. There have been a few different versions of it over the years, including men's, women's, U20, U18 and university levels. On the men's side this year, there will two divisions.

Top Division United Arab Emirates, Mongolia, Thailand, Macau and Chinese Taipei
Division I: Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Qatar and Oman

Kuwait came last in the 2014 Top Group tournament, demoting them to the second group. They are favourites, however, and with it being at home, there will be some excitement in Kuwait City.

Kuwait also played at the 2014 Gulf Cup Ice Hockey Championships, losing 5-0 to UAE in the finals. Still, they're getting a lot of good chances these days to develop and that's a great thing!

Sorry for the long response, the story just intrigues me :)
