To prepare us for the second round, I've gathered a selection of timeless classics by @TheImpatientPanther since he can't be with us on this forum. This will help ensure we get chosen as the main board's GDT.

I feel like that's just a coach telling the media to stop sensationalizing.
Honestly our guys have never self labeled themselves outside of being physical and being hard to play against

Every other thing is media labeled.

Consequently, that means the team has earned the reputation by their acts on the ice and not by saying “we are physical too”l.”

He’s trying to defuse an aura created by the media and not one driven by our players. To the same effect, he’s trying to create an aura for his team. Fair, that’s what a coach does.

TLDR, this really didn’t take anything away from our team or earn Toronto anything

The truth is its all just talk. Cats fans. Leafs fans. "Your team is overlooking our team" "Our team isn't what you think" Actual players and coaches aren't part of all this conjecture. They have a plan, and a job to do.

"We're a physical team too."

Yeah, just watch them arrive at the arena. Without a doubt they have more strutting, purses and earrings.

"Let's get physical, physical, I wanna get physical, let's get into physical".
