Just an amazing player, love watching how in control he is with the puck, ridiculous skill level too. His point totals get downplayed a lot, this guy is a freak, he's winning Ross's with McDavid existing, that counts for something, should of took the Hart last year too.

Exactly. This is the truth
I have Mario as the best of all-time, but that's not "the truth". Neither of you can know for a fact that Lemieux could not have been beaten by those three players because Lemieux has never played against them nor has he played in this era. The best you can call your claim is an educated guess.

Now, THAT is the truth.

This guy is unreal.

These star players rack up these "secondary" points by constantly making the right play.

Theres a reason they end up with so many of them.

gonna be a top 3 forward of his generation.

Im saying it right now, but Kuch will shatter his previous career total and is a lock for 160pts and another 100 assist this season. I could seriously see him go for a higher total for assists, somewhere in the 125-140 range.

People were tripping out thinking a PP merchant like Stamkos was going to cause a huge reduction in his production lmao

He's 100% better than Ovi all time and is the GOAT Russian player easily IMO. 9 Rockets be damned.
I don't think it's impossible that Kucherov could score more than last year because this calendar year he is scoring at a 82 game pace of 38-113-151 so I think there could be a bit more in him than last season, but I think 160 PTS or 120ish assists might be too much for him. We also saw MacKinnon recently have a 82 game stretch with 52-99-151 so I think he also has 150 point potential but it all comes down to timing. Here is Jagr in the 1999 calendar year and the 2 seasons it's sandwitched between:
Jaromir Jagr 19998463891521,811998-998144831271,57
82 Game pace8262871481,811999-00634254961,52
A MASSIVE peak but the seasons were not at the same crazy level (still won the Ross in dominant style both seasons though). Maybe Kucherov and MacKinnon are also having this type of ''inbetween season peak'' but I hope not, it would be awesome to see some really godlike seasons from them.

130 assists? Like….he’s one of only a handful of players to get 100 and the only winger ever, asking for 130 is quite an ask.

He is certainly able to get to 160 points though, but he’s missed games this year already to injury

He would need everything to go right, to never go cold, and have none of the key players around him go cold. I think matching 144 will still be pretty tough. It's just a massive number.

That said, I think it's entirely possible that Kucherov is still getting better.

So he might be a top 10 forward.

McDavid, Mackinnon, Kuch, Drai, and matthews all clear by a lot.

Then you have the Pastrnak, Barkov, Panarin, Tkachuk, Rantanen , etc. Tier which he's in
Such a dumb take, when is Matthews gonna clear the first round?

He’s on pace for 143 and was only really hot at the start of the year. Hope he can!
