Maturity.

Fantastic team defending game. Skinner make the saves required behind a complete 200 foot team effort. Just enough offense to squeeze out a playoff style game. Nurse's stretch pass to Draisaitl on the winner was a thing of beauty. The blue liner brought another strong, complete game.

Need to get the PP going. They had critical situation opportunities to put daylight onto a game they were the better team within. Little tiny quibble about late game defensive zone face-off losses but the team defending and goaltender held strong.

Big win with a lot of composure and structured, disciplined play across the roster.

Solid game all around by the entire team. Everyone was in sync and worked hard. Skinner was great again. Wish I could say that about him more often but it’s nice to see him locked in lately.

I mean to be fair to Jack, he starts when the puck is in the safest spot it possibly could be.

And he also interrupts himself and Louie when the critical time comes… a talent many broadcasters don’t possess. He’s light years ahead of so many others, mofos ought to be thankful. Jack spent too long vamping for time with Ole Boob on radio but again it’s better to have some colour than boring empty air, even if it’s WWE nonsense. A lot of broadcasters are so bad in so many ways. Jack meanders a little when games are boring but he never loses the thread, he knows what’s important and what’s just bullshit time filler. (Unlike Bob)

Just barely a dent in the GSAx tonight for Stu. Pretty much identical to Vasi’s.

In tight rebound chances seem overinflated on there, I swear. And we keep clearing the net front for Stu.

Knob/Coffey are low key defensive geniuses. The team is some how top 10 in goals against/game with benefit of no star goalie or franchise D-Man ala a Pronger and a forward corps that was known for "defense optional" play previously and that's with the Emberson/Stetcher duo that some people were so sure wouldn't work.

We're now down to 2.85 goals against per game, which I believe moves us past Vegas to 8th best in the league for goals against/game.

Take out the first 2-3 games when were hung over from Cup Final and we're probably top 5 in the league for goals against per game since then.

Now offensive adjustments ... Knob probably still has things to work on as a young coach, I have a few gripes there, but defensively the job he has done with this group is impressive. Dude is a freaking genius, there's very few coaches who could get these results IMO.
