Kreider on what is being deemed a horrible year by some still somehow ended up with the 100th most goals in the league last year

I think prior to last year, he had some crazy stat like top team in goals scored in those previous 3 years. Just looked it up. More goals scored than MacKinnon and Ovechkin in that 3 year span.

THIRD in PPG in that same time span. Only Draisaitl and Reinhart had more.

The actual $$ is $5M with the cap hit being $6.5M. The cap hit is irrelevant to the ducks, but important to NYR.

If Kreider scores 20 goals, he'll have outplayed the $5M salary.

Most of the Ducks would live further away than that and in some ritzy neighborhoods where it wouldn't be a concern. Unrelated, but one of my sister's friends bought J.S. Giguere's old house apparently.



I have a different family member who lives in Anaheim and unfortunately they're a bit prone to conspiracy theories. One of their kids was overly concerned about the various protests during the pandemic and wanted to arm himself. I wondered if he had forgotten that he lived in a gated community. I'm pretty sure he never had to deal with any rioters.
