If you're looking for a cheapy ticket, you can now stand for the entire game.

Prices start at $50.

Upper level SRO tickets are partially obstructed (don't know what they're obstructed by, I'm assuming the rail/table that keeps you from falling over) and they include drinks and food.

I'm usually not much for SRO seats, but $50 for a game including drinks doesn't seem like a bad deal at all.

Edit: Apparently the SRO with food/drink actually cost $130 each and are located on the weird side where there's no suites. They're calling it the "Tower Deck." I'm guessing the $50 seats are on the rail above the 200 sections.

This reminded me of how the Oilers sold $80 tickets just into the concourse for playoff games, you literally could not go to an area where you saw the ice. And they sold out in an instant! This is kind of the future of sports I believe, there will be seats, large standing areas, and then social areas where you just come to enjoy the atmosphere. All of them get to sell you overprice concessions so why not? The Leafs were even charging to stand to watch the game outside, although it wasn't close to $80.

Imagine if the VGK get to the playoffs in a few years and tickets are hundreds of bucks to get in, they might charge $20 to stand out in Toshiba Plaza and watch it on big screens and enjoy the bands and atmosphere, $75 to get into the doors and walk the concourse watching the games on the TVs and $100+ for standing room. Seems crazy but the Oilers and Leafs just proved it can be done.

:handclap: I ONLY want standing-only tickets!

Sitting is good for hemorrhoids and heart attacks but bad for health and fun!

I have gone to games at the Saddledome and Joe Lewis Arena and have stood the entire time!~ :yo:

I tried it at Maple Leaf Gardens and the Molson Centre (gawd what are they called now? ... who cares?) but Toronto and Montreal security refused to allow me to stand either at my seat or behind rows by the staircase.

I plan to buy "standing room only" seats and refuse seated tickets when I go to Vegas in early 2017.:yo:
