I don't understand why they traded Romanov. I just don't.

I haven't been tracking Dach at all besides knowing he's been disappointing since he was drafted. His stats suggest as much too.

Anyone with better knowledge willing to update the rest of us? He was a amazing prospect in his draft year, that I remember. What's happened since?

I understand if people are unhappy trading good assets for a struggling young player, but he played for a garbage coach on a garbage team last year and missed most of the already shortened season before to injury. He still has a tonne of potential and is worth a buy low opportunity.

Dach has done f*** all in the NHL. He's still young, but trading a dman, the 26th picks, 98th, and 66th for a guy trending that far into bust territory is a big risk.

Maybe they really believe that Guhle will be a stud and that Dach will be a great complement to Suzuki. Slaf and Dach are some big boys for sure, I kinda like the direction, but definitely very risky. We'll see how it goes.
