Awesome! An experienced body that can take Voynov's place until that whole situation is figured out. Apparently he didn't have a very good season in Pittsburgh but I'm still happy about this.

Well definitely didn't see that coming today. Someone on the way out maybe too? Because there goes Forborts potential spot, even more so with Voynov back.

Low risk, high reward imo.

Wow. Didn't see that one coming. Is this extra security in case Voynov doesn't come back? And if he does, what about Forbort? Well, nobody ever said the Kings were boring.

I don't know what it means about the Voynov situation, but maybe the Kings aren't too positive about the outcome? Or the fact that he's coming off an achilles tear? But we do have an abundance of left handed defenseman, I wonder if someone like Martinez is being shopped around.

I've wanted Ehrhoff on the Kings for a long time. Good flex deal. Could potentially turn into more depending on a lot of variables.

Muzzin-Doughty
McNabb-Ehrhoff
Martinez-Greene

Seems alright. Wonder what's gonna happen when/if Voynov returns.

Insurance against the Voynov situation, injuries, and easing in a rookie.

If he can slot into a spot next to Doughty and let others slide into more natural positions, all the better. Nothing but upside in this signing, really.

Sucks for McBain

We have a lot of left-handed defensemen... Interesting.

Ehrhoff prefers right side. Can play left, has played left in the past, but plays right primarily. Either way he will be fine. Knows his way around the blueline well on either side.

Not as good as Sekera but a hell of a lot cheaper and a more flexible deal considering the circumstances. I like it and expected him to sign for a lot more elsewhere.
