The Los Angeles Kings will play a league-high 16 games “rested†next season, benefitted by the fact that the Ducks skate just down the road in Anaheim, making Southern California a popular back-to-back swing.

According to Katsaros, who used data from the last 14 seasons, a “rested†team has a .596 winning percentage compared to the .495 winning percentage of a “tired†squad.

Interesting stat.

Also included in the article, the Sharks have the most travel at over 50,200 miles. They are the first team in a few years to top the 50,000 mark.
