22 year old ECHL Player. Not going to sniff this list for quite awhile.

Voted Shore

Our Conn Smythe-winning goalie was 22-years-old when he was in the ECHL.

For your naivety, I'm sending you to Ferguson, Missouri!!!

PS: When EVERYBODY on this board was down on Dwight King ('cuz he was sent to the ECHL), I was the ONLY person here who believed in the guy. I know talent when I see it. Kitsyn will make it to the NHL.

Once a skater hits the ECHL his chances are pretty slim to have an NHL career, there are a few exceptions such as Dwight King but most of the time it doesn't happen.

I believe King and Nolan were the only two skaters to play in the ECHL and Nolan's was for a cup of coffee after his final junior season.

It's just tough to get excited about a guy who hasn't really done anything since playing in the 2011 Memorial Cup. I know Russia can be hell on certain young players, I understand that, but he came over to NA and couldn't even stick in the AHL.

Goalies take longer to develop. It's not comparable to a forward.

And I was saying criticisms, followed by praises, of Dwight King before he even played a minute of the ECHL if that's the metric we're using.

Kitsyn is a very talented puck carrier who plays the body well, but he hasn't taken the steps where he can use them effectively on a consistent basis, and he doesn't dedicate himself to a style of play.

He's talented, but he's inconsistent and at 22 has yet to define his game. He also needs to be more impactful at the AHL level before we can talk about NHL talent.
