Kings Need To Shake Up Lines!!!

The Sharks can't handle the size of the Kings so why not put Kopitar,Carter together with Gaborik. Have Brown and Williams play with Richards and Stoll with King and Toffoli. Leaving Lewis with Clifford with whoever Sutter decides brings the best energy!The Kings better figure things out soon or this one will be over in a sweep!Going home down 2-0 will be insurmountable!This isn't the same Kings of 2011-12!

PS Please insert Greene and make some of them pansy Sharks pay!

Partially agree, but Toffoli almost had 2 goals in the last minutes and MUST be in the
top 6 and 1 of the PP units.

Really? Why would you shift Gaborik to RW, making LW insanely weak when we have Williams and Toffoli who should be playing top six RW. Toffoli on the 4th line is a WASTE. Also, if anything Nolan needs to be scratched, not moved-up in the lineup. I'm a big Nolan guy, but if he's going to skate around like he did tonight, he can sit

Toffoli and Williams are interchangeable. Only reason, Toffoli is better than Williams.

And no Greene. Mitchell and RR got burned so much that they almost had to call the fire department today.

Unfortunately Sutter's hard-on for Williams is even bigger then his for King.
 
The lineup will not matter if the Kings play with zero intensity. They were lifeless for 40 mintues.
 
The designated top red line that the Kings need to employ right now is grit and roughness to counter Joe Thornton's line.

I suggest on paper: Pearson/King--Lewis--Nolan/Brown/Toffoli

I like this alot. Carter has to play some center, and richards with 2 heavy forecheckers will do him some good. Stoll should be moved up to that line if richards continues to disappoint.
 
I would actually put Richards at Wing to deny the Sharks any match up where Richards is the center.

Lewis

That is still strong down the middle. Lewis is the perfect 4th line center.

Still if the effort for 40 minutes is going to be lifeless, won't matter what the lines are.

The lines are FINE. Quick, Voynov, and Regher made TERRIBLE mistakes last night resulting in goals against. It was an aberration of an aberration.
 
The number 1 thing this team needs to fix is the power play, for years this team has been terrible on the p.p. Next season it might be time to play Forbort, McNabb, and Campbell because Regher, Greene are to slow and Muzzin seems to go brain dead at times. If the kings are going run the sharks, they need to hit best players, rather than the grinders and 4th liners.

That's actually a really interesting idea.

I'd at least like to see him moved down the lineup to throw off Mclellan, but any lineup where Carter is 2C automatically looks 100x better.

Don't even give T-Mac the option.

That would Cause SJ to alter something(That's the point).

Trevor Lewis is not a slouch at Center defensively, he could be matched up against ANY SJ Center.

That Gets the Kings back to rolling four lines.
