I see one of two possible outcomes tonight. Either we win the game, or...The Kings get called for hooking late in the 3rd period and Helly heads to the bench for the extra attacker. Wheeler takes the puck into the zone and then passes back to Morissey at the blue line. The pass goes cleanly by Jomo and rolls down the ice into our empty net. We lose 1-0.

Between the Pipes
When Winnipeg head coach Rick Bowness was asked about the pair in his media availability he indicated that Mason Appleton is dealing with an upper-body injury and is considered “very doubtful” for tomorrow’s game against the Kings. He played 15:17 in the game on Sunday against the Islanders including the final 58 seconds of the hockey game against the Islanders.

The bench boss added that Pierre-Luc Dubois has a nagging lower-body injury and will be game-time decision tomorrow.

Peps are so gullible... Pretty sure Home Depot does not leave actively powered on table saws lying around the store so people can accidently cut themselves on them...

Some glory in their birth, some in their skill,
Some in their luck, some in their bodies' grace,
Some in their garments, some in new-fangled chill,
Some in their bling, some in their personal space;
And every Jet player hath his adjunct pleasure,
Wherein 5 on 5 plays renew the treasure in the chest:
But these particulars are not our measure;
Yo - time for Helly to better his best.
Scoff at Doughty, Byfield, Kempe – shiftless wights,
Arvidsson, Danault, Lemieux, heavy with false cost,
Of base delight to LA folk these crawling gobshytes;
And having fresh Nino, to resurrect thy pride lost
Wretched in this stand at home, mayst thou take
A win today and we much less wretched make.

Hopefully we start to get back on track and pick up a win tonight.

Despite our slump the Wild are only a point ahead and we are only 4 points out of first.

Other teams in a playoff spot in the west are also slumping hard right now so it's not just us.

Bringing out an old tactic to try and right the ship, here's a punk song that relates to our opponents. The King is Dead...let's hope this prophecy is fulfilled and there are 20 dead (figuratively, of course) Kings on the ice at the final buzzer.
