Seriously, the NHL should watch this game and wonder if this is the product they want. The officials should be calling way more penalties in a game like this to open things up, instead they didn't call Dougie when he took out Fiala behind the play, Danault when he took down a Devil behind the net, etc.

Frustrating game for a lot of it. The Kings clog and clog. Boys didn’t give up though and broke through and didn’t look back. Definitely a well deserved win. Gave the Kings nothing all night
The Kings play anti-hockey and deserve to lose more.
This game was basically the last 45 minutes of the Blues game except the Kings didn't have a big lead that whole time like the Blues did. They pushed for like f*** all all night.

Which like I said before, the Kings had a few pushes after Jack's goal. You'd think if they actually tried to consistently charge for offense they could and they're 10th in xGF. Maybe they're scared of Rittich bombing them games which is certainly understandable.
Yeah, it was basically the Blues game without the opposition nursing the lead. Getting that Palat goal as a quick response before 2nd intermission was massive.

Getting the tying goal late 2nd was huge. Without that who knows how the 3rd goes

We played very well, but yeah it was not a fun game to watch.
Neutral zone was clogged up worse then my sinuses.

There was a very short stretch recently where they lost their lead but they've gotten it back in a HUGE way

Fitting on a night where MTL lost 9-2
If Tkachuk were to request a trade I do think that's a type of deal that'd make some sense. I brought up that same deal recently

Why would we want Ullmark? Like the one benefit to our average goalie is he comes cheap cap wise with low term.
Why would we get another average goalie making way more money with more term?
And people wanted to get rid of Siegenthaler last year.

They'd have to take back some money to make it work. Palat-type money at the very least. I'd hate to give up our offensive dynamo but it's something I'd be willing to do
