in the games where Markstrom has allowed only one goal we’ve scored at least 3 non-empty net goals.

Even Kuemper has a couple of 3-1 (third goal empty net) wins this year in between hospital stays.

Even David Rittich has a 2-1 win this year.

Markstrom should have won the last game 1-0 or 2-0 with an empty net goal.

And it still would have been possibly the easiest shutout of his career.

This Kings team is weird. I find them very unconvincing. Like they have a lot more in common with St. Louis than Toronto, Dallas, etc.

The league is in a strange state. The bad franchises with young players are just hopeless strategically on and off the ice. The best teams aren't really that good, including us. I still think it's on the cap being flat and COVID stalling development for everyone. Not enough depth and the kids stepping in aren't prepared well enough. Metaphor for society at large, maybe, but I digress.

That wasn’t a shootout but that’s the last time we were in a 1-0 game. I know that because I went there with my wife, it was her first game.

Devils are 2-0 and have outscored opponents 4-0 with her in attendance (other game we went to was Utah this year).
