Kings - Developing a Winning Culture

Do you guys know what parts of the Rally really made me smile from ear to ear? All the comments about the Kings having one of the tightest knit groups in the NHL. They are all accountable and don't want to let anyone down. Just observing how Lombardi is with the players and how family is so important - it's a really good feeling.

It's taken Lombardi awhile to change the culture of this team, but I believe we are in such a good position for success in the future. Management really does their homework before making trades and changing the genetic makeup of this team. I believe that if they do ever get a bad apple on this team, that person will either have to shape up or he will be shipped out before he even knows what hit him.

It's such a rewarding feeling to see this team managed the way we always knew it could. To see all the young guys coming up like Pearson/Toffoli and them getting first hand experience from the veterans about what leadership truly is and what it takes to be a winner. I'm so stoked to see what the next few years will hold for all of us. I'm excited that I shared this ride with all of you and i'm super excited for the Draft!

Yep, winning culture isn't JUST about winning. There are so many more layers and depth to it than that. And the guys being so close, is definitely one of those layers. Maybe, one of the key layers. I love our boys, and I love Deano for orchestrating our winning culture the way he did.
