Vote for your top prospect and nominate who you want to see added to the poll list of options. Don't forget to nominate a prospect to add!

I will not be using HF's standards for prospects, rather I'll count players as prospects who haven't played a full year in the NHL and appear to not be a slam dunk for a roster spot next year.

#1 Adrian Kempe (55.42% of votes)
#2 Valentin Zykov (54.55% of votes)
#3 Nick Shore (33.87% of votes)
#4 Jordan Weal (58.49% of votes)
#5 Derek Forbort (54.17% of votes)
#6 Michael Mersch (55.56% of votes)
#7 Alex Lintuniemi (22.92% of votes)
#8 Erik Cernak (27.78% of votes)

You forgot the poll :p

I don't think Cernak deserves that spot -- lots of good players still in our system.

Cernak is one of those good players. He is a real quality D and I can see him stepping up and claiming a spot in Ontario TBH. He was top 4 D for quality Slovak U-20 team last year and will be a big minute guy this year in his 3rd year (and eligible for 2 more even). 3rd league D scorer on a men's team at 17. He will probably jump up the rankings next year.

Bartosak should be the choice here, IMO. He has done nothing but dominate every level. He will replace JF Berube as starter in Ontario early on this year, he already outplayed him last year.

Also add Spencer Watson.

Oh wow, surprised Cernak made the jump there. Like him a lot, can't be mad about that one.

Still going with Brodzinski, Bartosak right behind him. Add Watson.

Gravel.

Maybe Brodzinski has higher upside, but not sure about his overall game.
I think Gravel will be very good at everything and be a very good, reliable
defenseman.
