Nice insight and a solid article.

Lintuniemi is a player I have seen play in person 18 times over the past two seasons and I have never doubted him. I honestly believe that he is going to be a great young Dman for us in a short while. He has such calm and quickness to his game and he is rarely not in the perfect position. He needs to work on a couple of things but he looks allot like an NHLer already so time will only make him that much more better. Great pick for us.

I think he's going to take the Simmonds route and be here sooner than later.

Wouldn't it be awesome to see Lintuniemi develop into a Mattias Norstrom like defender who can be a permanent fixture on LD with Doughty? Like Matti, both are former 2nd round selections and are similarly built at being over 6" and 200+ lbs.

I don't know if they'll fast track him, but the fact that Lintuniemi lasted so long in Kings' camp and was one of the last cuts certainly is encouraging to see.
