I'm not a big fan of Nick, this is the first time I've heard him since I don't listen to games on the radio and he seems kind of boring.

Cardiac rehab does not start until after week 6. Bob should enjoy the rest of the season and the summer with his wife and family and make a decision to start fresh next year if he wishes to return (and I would bet on it too). Especially since the Kings don't do TV during the playoffs anyway, and the travel would be difficult until he is 100%. We'll miss you Bob, but we'll miss you more if you are not with us.

Glad to know there is another that shares this opinion. I love Bob, but man do I enjoy listening to Nick call a game. His delivery is great. Fantastic even. There is a reason he was inducted into the hall of fame. Guy is a gem.

Yeah Nick is going to be a more than adequate replacement of Bob. I've always been impressed by Nick's ability to paint a picture of the action over the radio. That is a real talent to be able to do that on the fly.

really?? - I think he's gotten much better.

A season or two back he subbed in for Nick for a game or two, and he was terrible. (not Cammi Granato bad, but close). This time around I must say I think he's made a huge improvement. He's been working on it (where does one go to "sports announcing school?")

He and Daryl are doing a good job on radio.
