I like this trade for the Reds more than I like it for KC. KC needed another bat though.

Dumb trade for the Royals. Just when they are starting to develop good starting pitching depth, they deal one of those good pieces for a no defense INF who is Michael Massey with a few extra homers and who was last actually good like three years ago…

Singer had 3.1 bWAR last year. India has less than that the last 3 years total.

I don’t like it. Tell me I’m wrong. I don’t like it when people are trying to convince me the “value” lies in the idea the guy we traded might turn into a pumpkin as opposed to the guy we got actually playing to the level of the guy we traded did just this year.

Jonathan India career OBP : .352

India is a very good on base guy, drew 80 walks last year. He has value as a player.
