Having good analytics doesn’t necessarily translate to being good on the PK. You need speed to be a great PKer imo, with some exceptions

He’s our version of Marian Hossa. Might not put up the points or goals Hossa did but he will be a two way beast. A very important piece to have for a team that wants to be competitive for a long time.

The best thing you can take out of is how he managed to turn from a disaster in his own end to a defensive beast in one year. He was known to be a liability in terms of defense before the draft as well. Shows you how much he is motivated in getting better.

Now, hopefully that same effort is put into improving his shot and speed.

He'll get there. Big improvement from yr 1 to yr 2 so I expect big things from him this year.

The leap from the first year to the second year was very dramatic. He looked completely lost year 1, year 2 he as a pain to play against, and imo our best player along the boards. I think Gallant is really going to help him take that next step.

Quinn essentially benched the Chytil line late game. It would be Mika or Strome. If needed Rooney.

I understand why they ranked Kakko so high. They also explained why they left Stone off the list. What they didn’t explain is why they ranked Puljujarvi as the 7th best defensive winger in the league. I feel like that scorching hot take needs more of an explanation than “he was a good play driver on CMD’s line” because even the numbers they list for him are mediocre at best.
