He's fine for a 9th defenseman or so on the depth chart. You never want to see him more than 2-3 games in a row for injury, but he is fine in his role and a good AHL vet.

Smart move. He looked decent in limited showings and seems to be a solid vet for the Amerks. Not every move is a top line guy.

Good signing. More likely a Karmonos effort, so let's not worry Adams is focusing on the Amerks.

This signing currently has us over the Cap floor so I think we are done.
Cue the Mission Accomplished banner outside Marine Midland, err, HSBC, no First Niagara, or whatever we call our poorly constructed 30 year old arena. Ah yes, KeyBank - when all of your other banks have been bought out, you’ll have no choice!

Good deal for Roch.

Don't let the angst of waiting for bigger moves detract from that.

Rochester needs multiple D and multiple G.
They need A LOT. They'll have some nice young players, but they won't go far in the playoffs if they can't beef the roster up. Good signing for ROC, but more needs to be done if they want to make a run in the playoffs this year.

Seems like a solid keep for Rochester and a fine organizational depth D who can play a smattering of NHL games when multiple injuries hit.

The team is going to be so full of prospects that I would go ahead and assume a big step back this year. One thing that happens when you draft 30 players in 3 years…you run into development resource issues. The best thing for young guys in The AHL is to join stable teams with a lot of vets. We’re going to run half our prospect pool. One of many reasons trades should have happened sooner.
