KABC radio is replying Game 5 vs The Rangers

This coming season is going to be nice, being able to listen in HD and all.

It's interesting: listening to it, I'm "noticing" the same things I did when I watched it; the same players are standing out (on both sides), good'n'bad...

Nicks comments about Toffoli after he hit the post were great. "He had the Cup on his stick and he hit the post.Great shot by him !"

It's nice to hear Nick describe everything as each guy gets handed the cup. I might have to dub this over the tv feed and post it on Youtube.

^Heh, yeah, he does love that phrase; "...game on your/his stick..." (I also learned a new word just now: "sagacious")

But in "all seriousness," listening to this broadcast really does give me extra appreciation for him...I've been listening since 2000, and being able to compare/contrast his broadcast with the televised version was the first time it really hit me just how great he is at feeding your mind's eye (there are some radio people that are terrible at this)...IMHO we're in good shape if he's Bob Miller's heir apparent...

Man what a freaking OTx2 right? I dunno how I survived that. And the whole run. So epic and edge-of-your-seat compared to 2012...

We can hope. Nickson has earned it for sure even if only for a few years. He's so solid and I love his calls, but I wonder how much of a transition it is to move from radio where you have to create a visual to TV where it's there but you have to color it.
