Exactly, isn't it funny that we are so used to so much going wrong for us in game 7's (choking, forgetting how to score, Phantom calls, no calls on opposition) even after a record breaking season, that we have no idea how to react if we win. I don't even know how to imagine us winning, it just seems like a fairy-tale that'll never come true.

And this is a season where one of our players is the best in the league and has potential for so much hardware (Rocket is locked, others are possible), even of our greats post-original 6 (Sittler, Vaive, Gilmour, Sundin) only Gilmour had one hardware (Selke in 93).

Its so f***ed how accurate this is. I genuinely can't even imagine the Leafs winning because I'm conditioned to expect losing.

fair enough. Just before you were around we kepted beating Ottawa to get smashed by Philly. Ugh..we all need this!!!
 
I'm stuck in Montreal this weekend. I've just spent 4 hours at my grandmothers wake drinking polish (?) beers. My body is ready.

Now to go to a Montreal bar in a large party as the only Leafs fan. What can go wrong.

If this is the end, its been a pleasure watching this season with you folks. But I think this story has more to tell. Leafs forever.

Before last game I said I wanted 2 things ...one was a lot of 5 on 5 hockey so we could get into some sort of rhythm...check.... two was an all out effort for 60 minutes and we basically got that for almost 80 minutes...I wanted to win of course but if not I didn't want Tampa to get a "freebie" because we didn't show up... check... Now we have to take it to them and show up for the full game and let the chips fall where they may... I'm feeling good about our chances.
