If this was the case then a 3m deal is more reasonable.. Not mad over the deal, I like it but could've been cheaper considering money wasn't the issue.

Stralman is obviously going to be better and it's a shame we didn't resign him. Klein and Boyle are not very good ES players and we lost some depth. However, the forwards in SJ really didn't carry Boyle. If anything, he carried them by putting them in position to get more shots on net than any other PP option.

Sounds like what an agent says after the fact.

He left maybe 1M on the table. The fact that he wants to play for NYR instead of NYI for that 1M difference doesn't really impress me.
