Would anyone else here want to sign Dany Heatley to a one year 1.5-2 MM deal to replace Pouliot? I think it makes a lot of sense. And what about Mike Ribeiro to a similar contract? Not a fan of Ribeiro but it could work.

I would make the signing because I am not comfortable with Miller being the 3rd line center of this team. He didn't show me enough last season to justify that role.

Ribeiro sucked last year in Phoenix but if you put him in the right situation he can put up some points. Obviously Phoenix is not the right spot for a player like Ribeiro.
