Jost out and Jaaska up

Just the little bit I get to watch I'd say Jaaska plays a more Canes style of game. I'd rather see Suzuki get a chance but I'd guess that has something to do with it. Jaaska has also produced really well after a slow start.

Well I hope that’s the reason for the non-call up. It seems the FO has something against him…
Probably his playing ability.

Could be the first NHL player to have played men's games for a team in the hockey hinterland that is Finnish Lapland, which I'm sure is a fascinating bit of info to you.
I don’t know what half of those words are, but I assume this is impressive in some way.

Where does a kid from Finland sit to tell Santa what he wants for Christmas?

It honestly could be something as simple as "It's better for Suzuki's development to play top line minutes in the AHL than to play 4th line minutes in the NHL"
Wasn't Jääskä signed to be a NHL injury backup? He is 26 and after a slow start has been scoring nicely for the Wolves.

btw: he looks physically up to par with his 6'0" height & weight listed as anywhere from 191lbs (AHL.com) to 196lbs (wiki) to 210lbs (Nhl.com) <the reality of the internet with challenges to know what is the real fact>

FWIW, Lapland is one of the top winter-wonderland vacation spots in the world. If you want to ride a reindeer sled under the aurora, that’s your bucket list destination.
And spot F/A-18s in the wild. Although they will be extinct in a couple of years because of invasive species (F-35).

Edit: now with a picture
