Even putting aside the injury thing with Norris, i think this is pretty comfortably Cozens for me.

The production is pretty similar in terms of ups and downs and what those "peaks" can look like...but Cozens has all the physical tools and potential to impact the game in other ways on his side. And the slightly cheaper contract. Norris is probably the slightly more polished two-way player at this phase, but there's no reason to believe Cozens won't get there and even surpass that at some point.

This feels pretty conveniently timed, to where Cozens has struggled a bit this year and Norris has been decent, but in the grand scheme of things, i'd still take Cozens and count on a bounceback.

Now...if you do include injury/durability concerns, it becomes an absolute no-brainer.

You would have to give Norris the huge edge in goal scoring ability, which I didn't see you mention. I thought when you were saying Norris was the more polished 2 way player that you would also mention the big difference in goal scoring.

Norris 79 goals in 205 games. (32 per 82)
Cozens 70 goals in 302 games. (19 per 82)

Different class of goal scoring ability show in the NHL to date.
