Anderson looked like John LeClair scoring overtime goal. With his strenght and speed to the outside. Took LeClair until he was 26 and got with offensive players with Flyers before he matured.

Anderson has scored 27 twice, 19 goals once. Playing with the Bryons and Jenners of the NHL. Keep him with Suzuki and Caufield next year. Good chance he explodes to 45-50 goal scorer.

Could happen, but wouldn't call it "good chance". He's a hustler and has great speed, but hasn't displayed that much skill or that great of a shot.

And LeClair played with Lindros...man that duo was impossible to stop

Is it just me or all our average/poor skaters are getting exposed versus the Lightning compared to our better skater like Anderson.

I mean Toffoli, Gallagher have been putrid while Anderson, Suzuki and Danault have looked good.

It is very hard to keep the pace with them they have very good skater offensively and defensively.
In high tempo games weaker skaters are always exposed. It’s what we used to do to other teams for decades during our dynasty period. We out skated and out skilled them. Now, we as the lesser team have to rely on team defence, superior goaltending and emotion.

Steve Dangle said exactly what I said.

When Josh Anderson shows up.... he can completely take over a game. When he doesn't... he can completely hinder your team. So many plays died on his stick tonight because he couldn't control them. Howeverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..... I didn't even hate his game tonight. At least he was noticeable.

We've really seen the best and worst of him already. At least he was dangerous but I'm really not sold on playing a guy who doesn't believe in passing the puck with Caulfield and Suzuki next year.

definitely a head scratching decision to put the worst puck handler with Suzuki and Caufield. Armia made more sense, at least he can pass

The problem with him, he is passing ability. But i really his physical ability and have scoring touch. Great hockey player, just need to be more consistent!

Armia. Or every Perry to dig pucks out. Anderson is probably going to score most there, but he's going to hinder the other two. Anderson should just be on whatever random line needs a winger and his plan should be skate fast and drive the net.

Started the playoffs strong, ended the playoffs strong. Middle was terrible, let's be frank. Let's hope it comes out he had some sort of healable injury and will be back to normal for next season.

I can live with Anderson he came up big a few times this playoffs and he’s our most physical player you need that kind of stuff
He definitely brought more than he took especially at the end there I just don't want him to be playing with our most talented players. You need a guy who can do the dirty work but he's a black hole. Keep him on the middle six and let him do his thing.

Can Anderson play LW or they just played him LW because Caufield was already on the right?
Because him playing on the left could do this

Anderson-Suzuki-Caufield
Toffoli/NewLW-Kotkaniemi-Gallagher
Toffoli-*-Armia
Poehling-Evans-Lekhonen
Extra Byron

Was hoping for Erik Cole 2.0 and we got a faster Rene Bourque unfortunately. Do think there'll be a way to get more out of him next year but it feels like we don't have the PMD to support him as a rush player.

He's pretty much an Erik Cole clone off the rush.

Bourque could be a powerful guy when he wanted to be as well, but he did things a bit differently.

Josh was never a playmaker in Columbus so why did you hope for him to be like one for the Habs all of a sudden?

He was brought in for his speed, goal-scoring, intensity and the hitting. That's it.
