Value of: Jordan Greenway or Marcus Foligno to Montreal

Montreal is looking for a winger to play with Caufield and Suzuki. Anderson is good, but needs to find constancy a little bit.

Greenway and Foligno both have size and can bring speed and defensive abilities.

Greenway has signed a 3 year extension on January 31st while Foligno is under contract for two more seasons.

So, what could be their value?

More than you want to give up likely. Young players who can play in top 9's, nevermind top 6 on contending teams and provide bite are among the most valued assets in the league.

I don't see Greenaway being traded any time soon. Habs should have zero interest in Foligno. He doesn't fit the profile of a rebuilding team.

Like everyone said: greenway was just resigned; extension. Foligno is the heart, and soul of the team. He won't be traded

I'd love to have Greenway in MTL

Something around : First pick 2023 (Panther) + Jake Evans + Hoffman + Ylonen

Why would the Wild trade 3m in cap hit in return for 6+ when they are already facing a couple of years of cap issues due to the Suter and Parise buyouts? If they were to trade either player it would likely be for cheaper options.

Happy to know there is interest in Greenway - it's been kind of a down year offensively for him. Was hoping for close to 40 points this season, whereas 30 will be unlikely. Still, integral part of a very good line.

There should be no interest at all in Greenway or Foligon. And Eriksson-Ek deserves better linemates.
