Hey Guys/Gals, I know that Reebok bought out Jofa in 2004, but I am wondering if you know a good place online to buy Jofa merchandise such as clothing and equipment. I know ebay is good, but I'm looking for other options. Anybody have any ideas?

Good luck finding any Jofa lids. Prices on the Gretzky style lid I've seen on eBay are outrageous.

Early RBK protective was simply re-branded Jofa gear. You might want to look there. Other than that it's just searching.

Jofa 690 became the RBK 5K in Europe. Ebay of course, and HG got a bunch of elbow pads in. I have a new pair of Jofa 9700 gloves I've been considering selling... but yeah, good luck finding any Jofa gear in good condition.

Basically, the extension on the 8K is a little shorter and the material on that extension is different.

Thanks for the info on the 9177's/8K's! This sounds like a dumb question, but is the extension supposed to go to the break of your wrist? If so, would it cause any interference with your gloves if the extension goes to the break of the wrist?

also, if you like the Jofa 390 helmet (which i still have), apparently in the u.k. (and europe??), the reebok 3k is the same or very similar to that helmet. seen some u.k. sites still with the reebok 3k.

jofa rocks...i still have my shin guards from high school...that was a little more than 15 yrs ago...well, i went without playing for almost 7 yrs and i love my jofa 1000 pants not half as old as the shinguards!

1998-1999. Our whole Varsity team here at the Uni were issued 390's (or whatever equivalent model it was at the time). Hilarity ensued, looked like a bunch of martians running around the ice LOL Most of the players couldn't even take themselves seriously.

I wear size 5 medium Jofa 5046's, and the long cuff doesn't get in the way. However, I also have the same size for my 9177's and my 8K's... the pro stock runs bigger in the cuff and bicep protector, but fits the same in the elbow pocket. As such, you do notice that the cuff bumps into the cuff, but it shouldn't hinder range of motion too much. I also have the 8K's in size 4 small which is more comparable to non-pro stock size 5. That doesn't interfere with the cuff at all.

If only RBK would bring back Jofa or go back to how the pads were back in '05-'06 when it was Jofa gear w/ the RBK imprint.
