I would really like to see him come out huge in the final. Could you imagine if he was voted MVP of the tourney after a big game tomorrow?

Hart Trophy
Conn Smythe
Olymic MVP
World Cup MVP

all he would need is a World Championship MVP and he'll have everything imaginable....that's just insane

Burnaby Joe is so good he still stands out amongst the worlds best! Has excelled at every level and yet still seems to just love playing the game. Who isn't impressed by this guy?

He's awsome!!
lol you better be... Sakic is not only one of the best hockey player in the world, he's one of the few real gentlement in sports. If Lemieux wouldn't be playing, he would be our Captain and much more respected and idolized by everyone in the World, especially by Canadian's hockey fans.

As for the MVP, I'm not sure who between Brodeur and Sakic might receive it if Canada win tonight, it's a tought choice, isn't it ?

Dont count out Lecavalier boys, if you ask me, he's the front runner right now with Brodeur.

As for Sakic, I don't think he should be on the team, I personally would have taken Brian McCabe instead.

Nice one :)

I would say Brodeur and Lecavalier are the front-runners as well. If Finland wins though, it'll be Kipper.

More respected and idolized than Lemieux? At least not until Lemieux retires.

I think Sakic has outmuscled Brodeur in the running since Brodeur didn't play the last game.
