Did the hand over the puck come before the the ref raised his arm for the cross check? Or was the arm raised for the cover?

Because if so, thats montreal possession, and the ref needs to blow the play down.

If the penalty gets called, Lowry doesnt go for the 2nd or 3rd crosscheck to get the puck.

Maybe im just going through the stages of grief...

I really hate to comment on reffing, as I see it as lame.

But this game was quite poorly officiated. It just was.

We did play a great third, and grabbed a point. To hell with the Habs.

It came from the cross check, ie Lowry cross checked him and Matheson fell onto the puck and decided to keep his hand on it.
